Despite over sixty thousand designs submitted, the Fan Drive Sweepstakes came down to the wire.  With just over a week remaining, it looked as though the domestic muscle cars would battle it out among themselves for the win, however the Nissan 370z refused to go down without a fight.  The Nissan 370z had been the dominant vehicle throughout much of the competition, leading the majority of the time from late September.  In early December, the Chevrolet Camaro took the top spot with the Dodge Challenger and Ford Mustang close behind leaving the 370z outside the top three.  In the final week, the Nissan 370z made its move from the fourth spot, picking off both the Mustang and Challenger by mid-week.  On the final day of the design period, it was an all out battle between the 370z and Camaro as they swapped the top spot several times.  As the checkered flag fell on the contest, the results were astonishingly close as the Nissan 370z was able to complete the comeback and defeat the Chevrolet Camaro by just nine votes.  The Nissan 370z will come equipped with Motegi Racing wheels, a Nitto® side skirt decal and NT05™ performance tires.  The winner of the vehicle will be announced at the end of January so stay tuned to Nitto’s Facebook page!
