Building a complete vehicle in order to showcase a single component is a solid concept. KMC Wheels had several options when it came to building an F-150 to demonstrate its XD 123 Bully wheels.

Option one was probably the simplest: use a simple lift kit, adorn the truck with some graphics, and bolt on the rolling stock.

Option two would have worked as well: lift kit, graphics, rolling stock, and myriad bolt-on accessories.

While options one and two are perfectly acceptable, KMC’s XD 123 Bully wheels are true beadlocks. Not only that, but they are forged aluminum! Living up to such a wheel required a third option.

What’s option three? It’s a real rollcage, long-travel suspension, and shocks to match. Instead of in-your-face graphics, KMC went with stealthy black. When you add it up, it’s black gold: an F-150 worthy of its wheels.
