New NittoTire.com Interactive Website Offers Ultimate Tire Research, Selection Experience

CYPRESS, Calif. (July 25, 2011) – Nitto Tire U.S.A. Inc. (www.nittotire.com), a leading developer of performance tires for racing, off-road and street, today announced the launch of newly redesigned website that helps car and truck enthusiasts evaluate and select the right tires for their vehicle.

           

                   Optimized for mobile devices, the new website employs the latest technology, vivid graphics and animations, text and social media to engage users in an interactive experience that enables them to quickly and easily research, evaluate and select the right tires for their vehicle.  The site also promotes participation in Nitto’s active user community, which numbers more than 215,000 on Facebook alone – tops in the tire industry.

            Upon entering www.nittotire.com, users have the option to click on one of three tire categories to view vivid multi-dimensional images and highly detailed descriptions of Grappler Truck, Street and Competition models.  They also can search by vehicle type, model and other filters to find the right tire and size for their vehicle.  Or, they can review daily news updates, enjoy special multi-media features, follow recent “tweets” or share information with their friends by clicking “Like” and joining fellow enthusiasts who receive news and post information on the Nitto Tire Facebook page at www.facebook/NittoTire.  Finally, users can search and geo-map Nitto Tire retailers by ZIP code, and there’s a special section called “Tires 101” for those who want to know the basics before exploring the details.
